Another week of intentionally growing and it's lonely. The Good kind of lonely but still…lonely.

I know this is just a part of the growth process so I'm remaining disciplined and pushing through this phase.

MANY distractions have presented themselves this week but I stayed committed to the process. I’m proud of myself. 👏

To keep my mind focused, I’ve been working on my certification, listening to the Meditation Episode 2-3 times a day, playing Good Energy by Yung Wylin on repeat, watching The Secret, and lots of reading.

This book (Ask and It Is Given) is my go to. It opens my soul and calms me from the inside out. I first heard of it in 2020 when Big Sean recommended his book list during the pandemic.

I read it often and the condition speaks for itself lol.

Yesterday I opened it to a random page and it was just the one I needed!

So I'll share with anyone else who's having a mental war with current self and the highest version of self on this battlefield of personal growth...

Keep going…God got you.

And In Mom Life..

My oldest moves into his new place this week! A bittersweet moment. Sometimes I still can't believe I have an adult child. Life waits for nobody so spend all the time you can with your children. NO EXCUSES! You can't get that time back.

Sidebar: For me, a love life has only been a distraction from raising my children. Maybe that will change, but right now I’m basically Asexual. 🥴

Moving on to my youngest. He joined Family Cub Scouts. Which means I have to be outside camping and making knots too. I guess this is training for the "off-grid" living I say I want so bad. Be with me Lord. 😂😅

We've also just started to read The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho together. I've read it twice before and think it speaks deeply to a young man...or boy in my instance. My youngest is only age 10 and may not grasp the whole idea of the book just yet; but I've learned that the older we get, we tend to look back on life and understand things we once did not. So that's the intention...
